ETS COMPLETES MIGRATION OF NATIONAL PAYMENT SWITCH AND RELEVANT DATABASES TO ORACLE CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE (OCI) AT CENTRAL BANK OF LESOTHO
At ETS we strive to deliver the best service in the market. We are delighted to publish the successful migration of national payment switch to OCI cloud, including relevant databases at Central Bank of Lesotho (CBL).
ETS appreciates the opportunity to showcase our skills and dedication to this migration in July 2024.
The services performed include:
- OCI Foundation Setup including
- Route Tables, Security List
- Service Gateway, Network Address Translation (NAT) Gateway and Internet Gateway Configuration
- File Storage Service (FSS), Object/Block Storage
- Native LBaaS
- Bastion as service or Jump host
- Identity & Access management Federation + Internal + ETS Managed File Transfer (MFT) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) groups and policies
- Next-Gen Firewall
- Network F/W Data Processing GB processing
- Oracle FastConnect
- Posture Security Management System
- Provision Linux Virtual Machines (VMs) in OCI
- Add Data Storage per defined size (Block-Volume) and Take the Boot + Block Volumes backup and provision on new location
- Next Gen Firewall and Next Gen Data Processing Configuration
- Configure Hub-Spoke Virtual Cloud Network (VCN) and configure with Management, Public, High availability (HA) Consoles as Control Plane and Data-Plane with App + DB Tier Network
- Database Migration:

- Provision of Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS) production environment
- Migration of Production database to OCI DBCS
- Patch the on-premises Database (DB) server to latest to match OCI DBCS
- Setup of up Disaster Recovery (DR) from OCI DBCS to On-Premise
- Post – production Support (PPS)
- The project took 3 months to fully complete.
ETS received a letter from Mr T Makula, Director, Information and Communications Technology, in November 2024, confirming that these services were delivered to their satisfaction.
